DR. NATCHEZ MORICE
Dr. Morice completed his degree at Loyola Dental School in 1961. I practiced in France for 3 years for the US Army. After that I returned to Gretna and New Orleans.
I have always been on the cutting edge of new treatment protocol. Another dentist and I were the first two to use nitrous oxide in the 1960’s. I have always been against unnecessary extractions for orthodontic treatment. I spent 3 years in a continuing education program for orthodontics and have been treating orthodontic patients since 1972.
I studied implants in the early 1970’s and have been doing them ever since. My true passion is all forms of general dentistry. Dr. Sugarman had me to do some of the pilot clinic restorations for Johnson & Johnson with the new tooth colored composite filling material they were developing. I don’t do silver and mercury fillings.
Cosmetic dentistry is my number one achievement and I love the responses that I get from my patients.
Success in all dental protocols is the ultimate reward. Come to our office for a visit, we look forward to seeing you.
DR. BOIHOANG “CECILE” VU
Dr. Boihoang “Cecile” Vu has called New Orleans home for over 25 years. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University and later obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 2002. While in dental school, she was a member of the C. Edmund Kells Honorary Dental Society. She also volunteered overseas and, along with school faculty, provided dental services to indigenous children in various parts of Jamaica.
As a dentist in private practice, Dr. Vu continually keeps current with modern dentistry by regular attendance at continuing dental education courses and seminars, such as implant restorations and the use of advanced dental materials. She is certified in Invisalign and ClearCorrect, both of which are clear aligner/ non-metal orthodontic techniques. She enjoys placing cosmetic restorations to improve smiles and prefers conservation of natural tooth structure over more invasive work.
Although Dr. Vu treats all dental/oral diseases ranging from simple restorations to oral surgeries, she strongly believes that dental disease prevention is the best means to prevent tooth loss. Therefore, she stresses early intervention through routine recalls and the use of modern preventive techniques such as fluoride and sealants. For those with financial concerns, she always offers multiple treatment options to accommodate all patients.
She is an active member of the New Orleans Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Vu resides in New Orleans with her husband and three children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, biking and spending time with family.
